The Face Behind the Biz
After working in Corporate America for over 13 years, I realized I could do the same thing from home. And for more people. People from anywhere in the world!
I. LOVE. MY. JOB. I love working for myself. I love that my office is all mine – my personality literally exploded all over it! From the colors to the wall art to my desk accessories, when you walk in there, it screams RACHEL!
What means even more than that, is that my clients LOVE working with me. I’m a tell it like it is kind of person. I don’t sugar-coat anything when it comes to running or streamlining a business. That’s how I got the rapport I do with my clients, past and current.
If you ask any of them, my work-style isn’t off the wall, per se, but it is different. If I can be open with my clients, they will be open with me. Most of my clients end up being friends during and after their contract. I just click with everyone! BUUUUUTTTTT, I’ve never been afraid to tell a prospect we aren’t a good fit either. When it comes down to it, neither one of us need the stress!

- I am the mom of four amazing kids and grandma to one
- I am newly married (though it doesn’t seem like we ever weren’t)
- In 2019 I transplanted from Illinois to Iowa
- I have a Boston Terrier named Jasper
- When I’m not working, I’m reading, listening to music, cooking, baking, or on the Harley
The Biz Behind the Face
I started Brummond Administrative after watching so many of my supervisors from past jobs and business owners that I knew personally struggle to figure out how to not only run their business to profit, but to also run the back-end so their daily operations ran smoothly.
I started off slow with smaller clients here and there. Over the years, my client base grew. I grew as a person and business owner, too. The broader my clients base got, the more I started to see that there were more streamlined ways for them to do a lot of their back-end office work. So I began taking on their tasks and eliminating their BS (back-office stress).
I trained myself on every platform they used that I knew was a service I had no problem offering to someone else. And over the last 10 plus years, my services list has grown to what it is now. And I’m always following up on the newest releases and updates so I can provide clients with the best experience and the least amount of stress possible.
Since the pandemic hit, I constantly hear how stressful the business place is. It’s hard to find help. It’s hard to keep help. It’s hard to afford help if help isn’t there. Peeps — Live. Laugh. Boss Up.
